We’ll need to ask you a few personal details to create your Student Roost portal. This will be where you apply for rooms, view your statement and make any payments. Your application is also where you’ll tell us everything we need to know to make your room the perfect Roost!
Make sure you use the necessary tick boxes (Group, DDA, Returner) so we can ensure your booking reflects your individual needs. This is also where you’ll need to confirm where you’d like to live. Enter in your preferences and our available tenancy lengths will appear.
Now for the fun bit! We’re handing the control to you and letting you decide when you want to arrive and leave. You can swap ‘fixed term’ with ‘flexibility’ by using our custom tenancy slider. Need a little longer than 43 weeks… but not quite 51? Fine by us! You will have the option to pick and choose when you want your contract to start and end and how long you want it to be for.
Why stop at 51 weeks? Student Roost also offers tenancies which allow you complete flexibility over the summer for a hassle-free stay. The best bit? You don’t even have to decide now! Extend your contract on a week-by-week basis until you’ve found the right tenancy for you.
You’ll only be asked to pay a £250 refundable deposit to secure your booking. We say no to additional booking fees! Your online portal will give you all the information you need on your payment dates. Notice something a bit different? That’s right! We don’t ask for any payment prior to your student finance being received. Just don’t forget to return your guarantor forms* and you’re ready to collect your keys!

Your Student Roost portal is available for you to view your tenancy agreement and payment dates at any time. We understand that circumstances can change, so you can use your portal to make any changes you need to your booking. Don’t forget, this is also how you can make payment through the year and view all your terms and conditions.
