Guest Policy

We understand the importance of having guests over for our residents and want everyone to feel comfortable inviting their friends and family to visit.

Your Guests

At Student Roost, we want all our residents to enjoy a vibrant, welcoming environment and feel truly at home in our properties. We're more than just a room – we're a community where friendships are forged, and memories are made.

We understand the importance of having guests over for our residents and want everyone to feel comfortable inviting their friends and family to visit. However, to ensure that everyone can enjoy their time here to the fullest while remaining safe, we have established a guest policy.

This policy serves as a set of guidelines to help maintain a harmonious atmosphere and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our residents and their guests. By following these guidelines, we can ensure that everyone has a good time seeing friends and family while respecting each other's privacy and property.

So, make some more memories with your guests in your Student Roost home, but please remember to keep these guidelines in mind to ensure everyone has a positive, safe experience.

Duration of Guest Stays:

  • Guests are permitted to stay for a maximum of 3 nights per week unless your property manager approves an extended stay for special circumstances.

Guest Behaviour & Safety:

  • Guests must follow all the rules outlined in your tenancy agreement. A copy of this can be found on your Student Roost portal.
  • Please inform your flatmates if you plan to have guests over to make sure everyone is comfortable with the arrangement.
  • If there are any issues with guest behaviour, try to resolve them directly with your flatmates. If needed, reach out to the property team for assistance.
  • The property team has the right to refuse entry or remove any guest whose behaviour is disruptive or harmful to others.
  • It’s your responsibility to ensure the safety of your guests, especially during emergencies. It is important to let your guests know of any fire alarm tests that will take place during their stay.
  • We ask that you don't share your keys with any visitors or guests. You will need to give entry and exit access to your guests to ensure the safety of everyone in the property.

Let's work together to create a welcoming and secure community for everyone! If you have any questions, please speak to your property team directly.
