Thinking about rebooking? This policy details the conditions relating to booking to live with us for another year.

RELATING TO BOOKINGS FOR THE 2025/26 ACADEMIC YEAR

This policy applies to individuals who are currently living in a Student Roost property for the 2024/25 academic year (“Resident(s)”).

1.    It is a condition of booking a room with Student Roost for the 2025/26 academic year that: 
a.    A Resident has paid all rent instalments due, and any other outstanding amounts/fees owed to Student Roost, as at 1 August 2025 and doesn’t have any rent arrears under their 2024/25 tenancy agreement with Student Roost or any other prior tenancy agreement with Student Roost; and
b.    A Resident has not engaged in anti-social behaviour or otherwise breached their 2024/25 tenancy agreement with Student Roost or any other prior tenancy agreement with Student Roost. 
c.    A Resident has provided their guarantor's signed guarantee agreement (a) within 14 days of signing their tenancy agreement/occupation contract, or (b) before the check-in date, whichever is the earlier.

Student Roost may cancel a Resident’s 2025/26 booking at any time between 1 August 2025 and the Resident taking occupation of the accommodation at the start of their 2025/26 tenancy if paragraph 1 above has not been complied with.

2.    Residents who do not comply with paragraph 1 above are not eligible for any offers or promotions run by Student Roost relating to the 2025/26 academic year.

3.    If a Resident does not pay all rent instalments due, and any other outstanding amounts/fees owed to Student Roost, under their 2025/26 tenancy agreement they will forfeit entitlement to any rent discount applied to their account under a 2025/26 offer/promotion and will be liable for the full amount of the rent under their 2025/26 tenancy agreement.
