The safety and wellbeing of our residents is our top priority, with 88% of our residents rating us 4+ out of 5 when asked how safe they feel at Student Roost.* We work hard to make sure a safe and secure living experience is available to everyone who lives with us.
Our receptions are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so our residents can always find a team member available. With regular property walks taking place throughout the day and night, and our handy out-of-hours phone number, residents can rest easy knowing that there is always support round the corner.
Our properties are also equipped with CCTV within all internal and external communal spaces, providing that extra peace of mind.
All residents are provided with a key which is personalised to the access they require. Their keys will grant access to any external doors, their flat and their bedroom, plus all communal spaces or facilities. Our access control systems ensure that only Student Roost residents and team members can enter the property, providing comfort to those who live with us.
If a key is lost, it is removed from the system before a new key is created, so there’s no need to worry if someone else finds it. Please note, lost key replacements may result in a fee.
We partner with Howdens to provide comprehensive contents insurance for all residents. Included as part of our rental cost, residents can relax knowing that we’ve got them covered. More information on what is included within our contents insurance can be found by registering with Howdens.
We understand the value of community, which is why our local relationships are so important to us. We work closely with universities, emergency services and other support networks and charities to ensure that our residents have access to the support they need, whatever it may be.
