2. To qualify customers must:

(a) complete a booking for a dual occupancy room for the 2025/26 academic year at one of the properties listed above in paragraph 1 during the Offer Period for a minimum tenancy period of 40 weeks; and
(b) be aged 18 years or older at the start of the 2025/26 tenancy period; and
(c) be undertaking a course of study at an institution of further and/or higher education in the United Kingdom during the 2025/26 academic year; and
(d) check-in to the relevant property at the start of the 2025/26 academic year; and
(e) not give notice to cancel their 2025/26 tenancy agreement; and
(f) if an existing Student Roost customer, not be in rent arrears under their 2024/25 tenancy agreement or otherwise in breach of their 2024/25 tenancy agreement or any prior tenancy agreement with Student Roost.

For a booking to complete the dual occupants must have accepted the terms and conditions of Student Roost’s 2025/26 tenancy agreement, completed and returned the Dual Occupancies Form, paid the deposit (if any), their guarantor must have signed and returned the guarantee agreement and any applicable cooling off period must have expired without either occupant giving notice of cancellation. Internet access is required.

3. Rooms are subject to availability.

4. This offer cannot be applied retrospectively to customers who have already completed a room booking for the 2025/26 academic year.

5. Only one discount per dual occupancy room is permitted. The discount is personal to the qualifying dual occupants and is non-transferable.

6. If the customers do not check in to the property at the start of their 2025/26 tenancy they will forfeit entitlement to the rent discount and will be liable for the full amount of the rent under their tenancy agreement.

7. If a customer cancels their 2025/26 tenancy agreement during the tenancy period they will forfeit entitlement to the rent discount and will be liable for the full amount of the rent under their tenancy agreement.

8. Existing customers who are in rent arrears under their 2024/25 tenancy agreement, or otherwise in breach of their 2024/25 tenancy agreement, or any prior tenancy agreement with Student Roost, are not eligible for this offer.

9. Student Roost accepts no responsibility for bookings not successfully completed during the Offer Period due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

10. This offer can be applied in conjunction with the Refer a Friend offer and any other offer or promotion.

Roost Cashback Offer Terms

This offer is only available for bookings made for the 2025/26 academic year.
•    ‘Cashback’ means refers to a monetary reward for booking accommodation with Student Roost for the 2025/26 academic year, subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
•    ‘Offer Period’ means the offer period specified on each relevant property page.
•    ‘Minimum tenancy period’ means the minimum tenancy length stated on the relevant property page.
Customers who complete a room booking for the 2025/26 academic year at one of the qualifying properties (identified on the specific property page) will receive Cashback, subject to these terms and conditions. No cash alternative is available.
The maximum number of Cashback offers available at a property may be limited. Cashback offers may also vary by monetary amount or to a specific room type, details of which can be found on each relevant property page.
1.    To qualify a customer must:
a)    complete a room booking for the 2025/26 academic year during the Offer Period at one of the eligible properties, for the specified minimum tenancy period and, if applicable, in a qualifying room type; and
b)    if applicable, enter the relevant promotional code to redeem the offer, during the booking application; and
c)    be aged 18 years or over at the start of the 2025/26 tenancy period; and
d)    be enrolled in a course of study at an institution of further and/or higher education in the United Kingdom during the 2025/26 academic year; and
e)    check-in to the relevant property at the start of the 2025/26 tenancy and not have given notice of cancellation; and
f)    (for rebooker offers only) if an existing customer, not be in rent arrears under their 2024/25 tenancy agreement or otherwise in breach of their 2024/25 tenancy agreement or any prior tenancy agreement with Student Roost; and
g)    pay the first rent instalment due under their 2025/26 tenancy agreement in cleared funds by the due date.
For a booking to complete the qualifying customer must:
a)    Accept the terms and conditions of Student Roost’s 2025/26 tenancy agreement:
b)    Pay the deposit (if applicable);
c)    Ensure their guarantor signs and returns the Guarantee Agreement
d)    Not cancel the booking during the cooling off or cancellation period.

3. Internet access is required. Student Roost accepts no responsibility for bookings not successfully completed during the Offer Period due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

4. This offer cannot be applied retrospectively to customers who have already completed a room booking at the relevant property for the 2025/26 academic year before this Offer Period.

5. This offer excludes bookings for the 2025/26 academic year made through a nomination agreement or referral agreement.

6. Customers who are in rent arrears or otherwise in breach of a 2024/25 or any prior tenancy agreement with Student Roost, are not eligible for this offer.

7.    The Cashback will be issued in the form of a pre-paid virtual payment card. A link to the pre-paid virtual payment card will be sent to qualifying customers, via the email address provided to Student Roost during the room booking process, within 30 days of the date that the qualifying customer has:
i.    checked into the relevant property; and
ii.    fully complied with all steps and requirements described in paragraph 1 above.

8.     If a customer does not:
i.    check in to the relevant property at the start of their 2025/26 tenancy, they will forfeit entitlement to any Cashback payment; and/or
ii.    pay the first rent instalment due under their 2025/26 tenancy agreement by the due date
they will forfeit entitlement to any Cashback payment.

9. The pre-paid payment card will be valid for one (1) year from the date of dispatch. The expiry date will be indicated on the card.

10. Use of the card is subject to the terms and conditions of the card issuer and/or Pluxee UK Ltd. Student Roost shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from participation in this incentive or use of the card.

11. The offer is personal to the qualifying customer. The pre-paid virtual payment card is non-transferable. Customers in dual occupancy rooms are entitled to one pre-paid virtual payment card only.

12. In the event of early termination of the tenancy agreement at any point during the academic year, we reserve the right to withdraw any Cashback offer and/or deduct the value of any Cashback already paid from any refund that may be due.

13. Student Roost may, at its discretion, provide Cashback through an alternative method, if for any reason it is unable to facilitate the pre-paid virtual payment card. Request for any alternative methods will not be accepted.

14. By making a room booking qualifying customers give their consent to the sharing of their personal data – including full name, date of birth, email address, and postal address – with both Student Roost and Pluxee UK Ltd. If this data is shared, it is solely for the specific purpose of issuing the pre-paid card and administering the Cashback incentive.

15. Qualifying customers acknowledge and agree:

i.     that they will keep the Security Information, used to access their prepaid virtual card, confidential and secure.
ii.    not to misuse or misappropriate this Security Information, and
iii.    not to share or disclose it to any other person, except as expressly permitted by this Agreement or the Card Terms and Conditions.

16.    Qualifying customers have the right to withdraw their consent before their data is shared with Pluxee UK Ltd. This can be done either:
•    through their account on the Student Roost portal (if applicable), or
•    by contacting Student Roost directly at privacy@studentroost.co.uk

17. Once the data is shared with Pluxee UK Ltd, Student Roost is no longer able to withdraw consent on behalf of the customer. After data is shared, any requests to withdraw consent, exercise data subject rights, or delete personal data before or after registration with Pluxee UK Ltd, must be directed to Pluxee UK Ltd, who act as the independent data controller from that point onward.

18. The decision to pay the Offer is at the absolute discretion of Student Roost. Student Roost reserves the right to withdraw or change this offer at any time.
