What’s the process I need to complete to rebook?

Of course – if you want to make the move to a different room or Roost, it's easy. Log in to the student portal and choose your preferred room/Roost and dates - and you can even make a group booking if you fancy living with friends. If you still have a question about switching, speak to our helpful team. We’ll do whatever we can to get you where you want to be.

Do you do flexible tenancies/semester lets for returning students?

Many of our properties offer flexible tenancies. Visit the relevant property page on our website or get in touch with the property team for details.

Question 3

Can I sublet (tenancy takeover) to/ from my friend?

Accepted Answer

No, you are not permitted to sublet any part of your accommodation, as per your accepted tenancy agreement. If you need to move out early, you should contact the reception team to discuss the option of a tenancy takeover.

Can I arrive earlier than my tenancy start date?

We'd love you to check in early so be quick - this will depend on the availability of the room you’ve booked. If you wish to arrive earlier than your tenancy start date, be quick and speak to the property team to get settled.

How can I pay?

Here at Student Roost, we believe in being flexible. That means you get the choice on how you pay your rent. You can choose from annual, termly and monthly payment plans across the year which you’re probably already familiar with as someone who’s rebooking.

Question 6

Can Student Roost store my belongings over summer?

Accepted Answer

If you have rebooked the same room, we may be able to store your belongings over the summer for a reduced price. We will always try to accommodate summer storage for our returning residents; however, this can depend on if your room is available over the summer and if there are any refurbishment works taking place. If we cannot store your belongings, we work closely with a provider who will give you an exclusive Student Roost discount. Please speak to your property team for more information.
