From mental health to maintenance, being able to access support round-the-clock offers peace of mind for residents.
We know that student life isn’t the typical 9-5, which is why it’s so important to us to provide consistent reception service 24 hours a day. Whatever the query, whatever the time, our team members will be happy to support.
Our onsite maintenance team work hard to resolve any maintenance concerns as quickly as possible, with minimal disruption to our residents. Residents should report any maintenance issues to reception in person, or via email.
As part of our Behind Every Door campaign, every resident receives free access to the Hub of Hope platform, where they can locate support networks within the local area. Whether this be the university’s wellbeing team, financial advice or guidance on how to manage more personal concerns, such as home sickness, there is a plethora of support at their fingertips, at any time.
Our wonderful Student Roost communities are what truly make us a home away from home. Throughout the year, residents can enjoy varied events plans, jam-packed with engaging activities to help them make the most of their university experience. Anything from movie nights to cooking classes, from craft making to our Zen Bus, helping residents relax during exam season, there’s something for everyone.
To support our residents getting to know us, their neighbours and our properties, we have the Student Roost app. Here, residents can manage their account, make payments, join events and connect with others on the same course, or with similar interests. The app is only accessible to those living at Student Roost, so is a safe way to make new friends within our properties.
