I'm concerned about my mental health. What support is available?

From 24/7 onsite support to comprehensive signposting, we've got your best interests at heart around the clock.

Wherever you are in your student journey, you may end up facing pressures related to uni life on top of all the stresses and anxieties that modern life can throw our way.

Knowing where to turn when times get tough can really help to give you peace of mind, so you can look after your mental health while you’re living in student accommodation.

Find student mental health support

We recommend visiting our Wellbeing hub, which includes a section dedicated to support. Within the hub, you can find:

  • Information on how you can access support quickly and easily – in your own room and on your own phone! Our #BehindEveryDoor initiative means that you don’t have to look far to find support local to you
  • Direct links signposting to support services like the Samaritans and Student Minds for an easy, quick shortcut if you or a friend/flatmate needs help
  • Additional help and advice on taking care of your mental health, within our wellbeing blogs

Don’t forget too that your property team is available 24/7 and are here for you.

If you're feeling low or anxious and think you might need help above and beyond a chat at reception, a member of our team will be able to point you in the right direction of relevant support services, whether that's local or uni-based resources or national hotlines, so you can navigate getting the help you need.

Simply put: we've got you. Our Roost community is all about putting you first: so if you need to talk, speak up and we’ll be ready to listen.
