Find out more about when you can expect to move in, as well as early arrival options in selected locations.
Your tenancy agreement, which was signed at the point of you accepting your offer of accommodation, will show the date that your tenancy begins – which is also your arrival date.
These dates cannot be changed once you have accepted your offer, however they can be extended if you need to arrive earlier.
Depending on availability, some properties do offer early arrival. We know that plans change, sometimes unexpectedly, which is why we offer flexible tenancies, so you can be in control of your living experience.
You can find out more about early arrivals on our Help Centre under ‘Do you offer flexible tenancies and semester lets?’
As your tenancy start and end dates are set based on the tenancy you choose, and as outlined in your tenancy agreement, you are still liable for your tenancy and any payments included from the start date.
This means that if, for example, you move into the property a month later than your tenancy start date, then you are liable for the first month’s payment even if you haven’t checked into the property.
We understand that circumstances arise and plans change, so we would always recommend speaking to your property team directly if you are unable to arrive on your tenancy start date.
